A Holmen Rotarian will wash, polish and wax your car, SUV, van, or pick-up, clean the tires and wheels, wash the windows, vacuum up the french fries from under the seat, clean and treat the leather/vinyl and try and get your kids footprints off the headliner.  All using high quality MOTHERS California Gold wash, clay, polish, wax, tire/wheel cleaner, upholstery solutions and equipment.     • A Holmen Rotarian will take care of mowing your lawn in the La Crosse, Holmen or Onalaska area for three consecutive months this summer. You decide on the months and leave it up to Scott. Maximum yard size 1 acre. (Service includes lawn equipment, fuel and labor.) Scott Ryan

    • “Want to get Away?”  -  Wait no longer.  Let’s go to breakfast at Lone Rock Airport.  I will fly you there in a Cessna 172 airplane.  We can take aerial pictures along the way, “text and fly” with great cell phone coverage and feel what it is like to soar like a bird.  The restaurant has a great breakfast.  Included in the flight package is a first class breakfast with other pilots, a Cessna 172 replica coffee mug and a souvenir flying t-shirt.  Plan for 3 hours from start up to back at the hangar.   Your adventure could be any day of the week that works best for you.  You will be equipped with a live intercom headset to experience first-hand communication between the pilot and the control tower….  You will have the opportunity to fly the airplane via Visual Flight Rule with the option to track the flight on two separate GPS instruments, all from the confines of the front seat…  Why not experience what almost every young kid would love to do….  Let’s Soar Together! - Larry Bodin

  • Chocolates and Wine
    • Nothing says decadence during the holidays like premium chocolate from my favorite chocolate shop! I will work with the Sweet Shop Chocolatiers of North La Crosse to select just the right assortment for you. You receive at least two pounds total of premium chocolate delivered personally by me anywhere (50 mile radius of La Crosse) for six holidays in the coming year--Halloween, Christmas or New Years, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's or Father's Day, and the 4th of July.  Or substitute another holiday--Boss’s Day, Administrative Professionals’ Day, your choice. Plus, for Valentines Day and Christmas/New Years, I will also provide two bottles of premium wine—a port, a merlot, any wine of your choice—providing four separate wine and chocolate pairings in all for these two special days. - Barry Ploessl
  • River Cruise and Dining 
    • An afternoon and evening for 6 on the Mississippi and Black Rivers.  We will depart early to mid afternoon cruising down the Black River starting just below the Onalaska Spillway, down past Copeland Park, underneath the raising railroad bridge and down to where the three rivers meet.  We’ll continue past Riverside Park and continue south to Brownsville.  We’ll grab some drinks and snacks either at Lawrence Lake Marina, or just pull up on a sandbar to park for a bit.  Then we’ll head back up river to La Crosse where we will treat you to outdoor dinner, likely at Pettibone Boat Club overlooking the river, but there are other options we can discuss as well.  After dinner we will take a ride north on the Mississippi, under the swinging railroad bridge and I-90 bridge to Lock and Dam 7.  Then back to Riverside Park for our return trip up the Black River to our docking spot.  The night doesn’t have to stop there as you are welcome to stay on our deck and watch the sunset over the bay and enjoy some more relaxation.  Dinner, drinks, and snacks are all included. - Dean and Nancy McHugh
         
         
  • Genealogy Research On Your Family Tree
    • This is your opportunity to learn more about your family’s history and discover your roots. It all starts with records from 1940 to search for your parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. Then using the power of Ancestry.com digitized census records, we take that information and go back every 10 years to discover information from their lives and build out your personal family tree. Along the way, often times other information such as marriage records, burial location, military service and immigration records are located. Sometimes other extended family members will have shared provided family photos or stories to the Ancestry database. You will receive a genealogical report along with copies of each census record and a personalized family tree. Standard Package 3 hours of research but if the price is right… the Deluxe package is for 8 hours. –Kelly Dunn

    • Billy Crystal once said; “I can’t be funny if my feet don’t feel good.” With this auction item you are going to be hilarious! This item consists of 4 visits from a Certified Foot Care specialist, Ms. R Peterson, , RN, Masters in Nursing. Ms. Peterson will evaluate your foot health, trim your nails, including nails that are thickened, file any callouses, massage your feet and educate you about proper foot care. Each treatment is approximately 30-45 minutes in length. Visitation area limited to the within 20 miles of La Crosse.  –  Helen Lethlean
  • Birds In The Yard
    • A course for young naturalists who want to learn about the birds we live with. We will discuss the birds in our yards and parks, why they like sharing our space, and how to make our outdoors safer and more attractive for them. Includes ten easy to assemble nesting house kits for construction during the program. Time and location will be determined by the purchaser. A great project for scouts, 4-H, church youth groups or just fun for the neighborhood kids! Taught by George Hammond, retired county agent and 4-H leader.

    • Are you having a wedding, a bachelor party, an anniversary celebration, a family reunion, or some other event where the guys have to look their best? I’m a licensed barber with an established practice, and I’ll come to you on or before your special day (within an hour’s drive of LaCrosse, WI) and provide haircuts and beard trims for up to 8 men and boys.   I’ll also provide a box of premium cigars to help those interested to celebrate the big day. - Art Lyons
