The 2021-2022 Rotary 'Avenues of Service' Dinner was held August 16th at the La Crosse Country Club. The dinner is an annual get together of the nine Rotary Clubs from the Coulee Region that make up the Rotary Works Foundation- La Crosse. The Rotary Works Foundation creates grants to help fund local club initiatives. For 2021-2022 the foundation doled out $16,550 in grants amongst the 9 clubs on 10 local projects. The dinner is also a vehicle to reflect on the past year and recognize outstanding achievements amongst the nine clubs. The Holmen Area Rotary Club won two awards, One for Club Service and a second for New Generations. The Club Service award was for steps taken to successfully work through the pandemic and increase club awareness that resulted in 8 new members. The New Generations award was for the Club's commitment and support to the new Boy's and Girl's Club in Holmen. Accepting the Club Service Award was past Club President Kathy Reinolt. Accepting the New Generations Award was current Club President Nancy Proctor. Hard working and humble Lisa Fisher was honored at the dinner for being the Club's Rotarian of the Year.
