Wednesday, June 14th's Holmen Area Rotary Club's meeting was a treat, with the delegation from the India Rotary Friendship Exchange in attendance. Representing Rotary Club Of Belgaum South were Dr. Renu Pattanshetty, Dr. Sanjay and Dr. Sheetal Porwal and Mukund and Rupali Bang. Representing the Rotary Club of Belgaum were Dr. Shridhar and Dr. Sushma Shetti and Sanjeev and Surelha Deshpande. Their visit is in response to members of our Rotary District 6250 spending time in their country. These fellow Rotarians from India are living with local host families and traveling Wisconsin to learn about how we live and meet new people. Friendship Exchange is an international exchange program for Rotary members and friends that allows participants to take turns hosting one another in their homes and clubs. It fosters peace in the world by broadening international understanding while building enduring friendships. It was interesting to hear from them and learn a little bit about their culture and also what they thought about their experiences with ours.
