2025 Service Auction Fundraiser
 
The Holmen Area Rotary Club will hold their Service Auction fundraiser on Friday Evening, May 2nd at the luxurious Waterfront in the spacious Cargill Room and patio. The event starts with a social hour at 5:00 and includes an appetizer buffet, a Live Auction of unique items and services, bucket raffles and more. Auctioneer Alex Goodman sets a fun and active pace for the evening. Live Auction items in the past have included gourmet cakes, airplane flights, sailboat excursions, weekend getaways, special dinners, grass cutting, car detailing and many, many more. Items will be listed on the website as they are announced. Tickets are only $35 or invite some friends and reserve a table for 8 at $300. Reserved table centerpieces have a sign announcing the company or organization that is reserving the table. Chauffeured Minnesota United Professional Soccer Game
 
 
Two Minnesota United regular season game tickets for the Sunday, August 10th match.  The match starts at 5pm.  We will transport you from La Crosse to Allianz Field in St. Paul in our vehicle, provide the game tickets, cover the parking.  We will purchase food and drink for you in the stadium for dinner.  Once the game is over, we will drive you back to La Crosse.

Fishing with a Regular Guy
 
   
Spend the day with Bob and Lucy (the dog) in their 16 foot boat fishing on the Mississippi river. Troll the wingdings or float worms over the top. Fling baits into the weeds of the backwaters or dibble the snags for panfish. Noodle for catfish if you so desire. Fishing on the Mississippi is never boring. You can catch a dozen fish in a day and they could all be different species. Or just hang out and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the river. Bob will provide the tackle if needed and pack a delicious shore lunch. If you do manage to catch something, he will even clean your fish for you at the end of the day. There is room to comfortably include two adults or an adult and a couple of kids or heck just send the kids and have some peaceful time to yourself.  This could be done during the week or weekend on any mutually agreed upon date. Figure up to 6 hours of fishing fun.

Chauffered Green Bay Packers Football Game
   
4 Packer Tickets plus a ride to and from the game! We will transport your party of 4 to Lambeau Field in our vehicle, provide the game tickets, cover the parking, plus have some snacks and beverages for the ride. Once the game is over, we will drive you all back home from Green Bay. Depending on game time, we will have either a pregame tailgate type lunch for you or a stop for dinner on the way home. Since the schedule is not out yet, we will provide you 2 or 3 options of games that work for us once the dates are known. Oak Barrel Charcuterie Board
    
This charcuterie board is made from oak trees that are harvested only after they are 150 years old. They are made into wine barrels in France then used at Galena Cellars winery in Galena, Illinois. The oak is quartersawn white oak. Once the wine is made in the oak barrels, the barrel staves are made into Charcuterie boards. (Charcuterie = tasty snacks) In this board, the Rotary Logo is Lazer engraved at one end with the year 2025 underneath. Road Tripping with the Holmen Rotary Club
   
We can’t wait to show you the beautiful Coulee Region, through an open air ride in a convertible on a sunny day.You will drive Patt’s Porsche Boxster,automatic transmission, convertible surrounded by a caravan of Rotarians and friends. We will depart on Sat. June 21, 9:30 a.m., from Holmen Boys and Girls Club. Rain date is June 22. Additional Convertables are invited to join for a nominal donation to  the club. Our ride will take us through the winding roads, through the hills and valleys of the Coulee Region, North this year, in search of the perfect ice cream cone.  No return trip in a convertible ever takes the same route home, (but never on gravel roads!).  Our return trip is guaranteed to be hilly and winding, which will lead us back to Holmen. Value: Priceless! This scenic ride for two will be hosted by Patt Boge & Jug Kann and Alex & Jolene Goodman.
