Together in Service,  Bonded by Friendship,  Driven by Fun

The Holmen Area Rotary Club (HARC) was chartered in February 2007 and has about 40 active members. HARC meets every Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. at the Holmen Community Center (600 N. Holmen Drive, Suite 200, Holmen, WI 54636.

Guided by the motto “Service Above Self,” the Club supports local and global initiatives, working to make the community and the world a better place. Its service projects include the Bed Build, Holmen Community Garden, Peru Water projects, Deerpark Shelter, Bike Repair Stands, Holmen Police K-9, Rotary Lights, and the new Holmen Boys & Girls Club.

HARC also invests in local youth through mentoring, monthly recognition of outstanding Holmen High School students, annual scholarships, youth leadership training, and a student foreign exchange program.

To fund these efforts, the Club hosts several fundraisers throughout the year, including the annual Service Auction, Beard Contest, Oktoberfest bartending, and Holidays in the Park.

New members are always welcome. Come join us!

Four-Way Test

The "4-Way Test" has become an important fixture in Rotary, guiding Rotarians in their personal lives as well as in their professional lives.

It asks the following four questions: "Of the things we think, say or do:

  • Is it the TRUTH?
  • Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  • Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  • Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?"
